DASC NOVICE CLUB GALAS 2011

DASC will hold three Novice Club galas at the Dolphin Centre, one per term.
Each gala will be open to all swimmers who are members of Development 1 or Development 2 (a) or (b) squads at the time of the gala.
Swimmers may compete in 25 metre events on each stroke.
Awards will be given to the top 3 girls and top 3 boys from each of D1 and the combined D2 squads for 8&unders and 9&over agegroups for each event at each gala.
The age of a swimmer is determined as their age on 30 April (Gala 1), 31 August (Gala 2), 31 December (Gala 3).
Swimmers do not need to enter the Novice Galas in advance or complete a gala entry form. They should report to the Gala Desk on the night of the gala.
The results will be published in the Back Tank and on the club website as soon as possible after the gala.
Any swimmers who achieve a DASC Sprint Award time at these galas may buy a Sprint Award badge from the Swim Shop on 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings of the month. See link below for times.
We can only run these galas with the help of people who volunteer to be involved. The club would be very grateful if you would consider helping out.

At coach's discretion some D2 swimmers will be invited to swim in the Main Club Galas - see separate information page.
The 8&under Club Championships will be held in the Main Club galas.
